New York University (NYU) Non-Accelerated/ABSN Fall 2022

Hey everyone I haven't seen a forum for the fall 2022 deadline for NYU's ABSN non-accelerated and accelerated pathway yet soo I decided too start one so we can all stress out together in these next few months of applying

Hi Everyone! I recently got accepted and am most likely going to attend the ABSN program at NYU (unless I get into Mercy because of the price difference). I wanted to share some of my stats because I know when I was awaiting responses I loved to hear about this from people to keep me occupied LOL. I attended Syracuse for Undergrad, graduated with a 3.5 in a Policy Studies and Communications dual major in '19. I had no medical experience, but made it clear in my personal statement that I wasn't able to due to covid and timing. I did have extensive volunteering extra curriculars.

For pre reqs, Anatomy - B Physiology - C Chem - A Micro - A Nutrition - A Stats -  A Dev Psych - A

I am pretty high anxiety so tried to avoid checking the portal often, but whenever I peeked the checklist was still there, unsure about right before they sent the notif tho. They sent me an email that was very bleak saying to check the portal for an update, and then the acceptance letter was there. I received it last Monday. I hope this helps and good luck to everyone! Please let me know if you would like to meet up or chat prior to start of the program ?

Congratulations on your acceptance! May I ask when did you apply and also did your checklist disappear when admissions was viewing your application?

Nope, mine is still there and still looks the same! They usually release decisions Tuesday, right?

Usually in the first few days of the week. The first decision was made on Tuesday and the second was on Monday.
