New York University (NYU) Non-Accelerated/ABSN Fall 2022

Hey everyone I haven't seen a forum for the fall 2022 deadline for NYU's ABSN non-accelerated and accelerated pathway yet soo I decided too start one so we can all stress out together in these next few months of applying

I feel like they're filling up the regular nursing program and ABSN slots first before accepting non-accelerated applicants because last time, most of us who applied for the non-accelerated program got the decision email last and most didn't get in.

Also, my checklist is still there but the checks are now black not green.

I am getting similar feelings. If that’s the case, then it would be nice to know that as an applicant. I was under the impression that these application processes were truly separate from one another. All of the luck to you! Let’s keep working towards our goals no matter what happens.

Question for all of you! I know some ABSN programs along with NYU don't require the TEAS exam. One school I just applied to requires it so now I have to take it. Did most of you take the TEAS exam?

Does anyone who currently or previously  attended NYU  know if  they use exit exams , HESI, or ATI?

Hey all. Has anyone heard anything today? Anyone familiar with the Albert portal and if that gives clues to a decision before you receive an email notification?

No ?… they just asked me for a midterm report over a week ago. Today’s a holiday so they were probably off.

What is the Albert portal? I’ve just been checking my application using the regular NYU undergrad portal.

It's where you'll see the status of your application - if got accepted or not. Just search NYU Albert then login with the same login info you use for the applicant portal.
