I applied for the NYU ABSN program for the Fall 2025 priority deadline. Has anyone received any updates?

Hey, this also happened to me and I think I'm going to wait until Monday to see if it's actually the official acceptance.

Hi! So yesterday I got an email at 10 saying I was accepted, I checked my portal and Albert and it said nothing; it still looked the same as it has since I've applied. Then another email came in at 11 saying they sent people an acceptance email on accident and I should receive another email in the coming few days. 
 

Last night my portal changed and I found my admission letter, ability to submit proof of graduation/official transcripts, and on my Albert I saw I was able to accept my admission offer and place a deposit. I was skeptical and was going to wait for more information on Monday before I placed my deposit. 
 

But an hour ago I got another acceptance letter (I'm surprised they sent it on a Saturday, instead of a Monday/Tuesday). I am so excited and put in my deposit! Did anyone else receive an admissions email today?

It sounds very similar to what happened to me! Except I received my email at 5:00 PM yesterday. I would say best bet it to wait until Monday to verify whether the acceptance is legitimate or if it was part of the mass error. That's what I'm doing. It feels unusual to me to receive an "acceptance" the same day as the mass false acceptances.  
 

I hope that they are not an error, if so that's a massive mistake on the school's end.

I received an official letter on my albert too! And they emailed me again today confirming it.

Oh wow! That's a hopeful sign! I didn't receive an email today; I got 1 at 5:00 pm yesterday but none today confirming. However, my acceptance still shows on the portal and on Albert. I'm soooo confused!

I'm really nervous what if the acceptance was a mistake? God forbid that happens, but I'm scared to submit the deposit and then find out it was an error on their end. Would that deposit lock me in like a legal contract?

Same here, which is why I haven't put the money down yet as I'm still confused if it's legitimate. I sent admissions an email, so hopefully we will hear back on Monday. A deposit is to secure your seat, but if it's not a real acceptance they will refund it I imagine.

check the portal, check to see if you can click on the status and see the formal letter, check to see the checklist if you have it will tell you all the missing steps for you to do.

I put the money down anyways. I did receive an email with next steps.

I didn't get an email today, only yesterday late in the afternoon.

On the portal I can see the admission letter from yesterday late afternoon (5:30 PM).

Still nothing from today. So confused still!
