Thread for NYU Fall 2024 Applicants

Hi everyone, I made this thread so that those who are applying to the NYU ABSN Fall 2024 can ask questions/stay in touch. 

I declined my acceptance yesterday because the price was too much of a barrier for me. I hope one of you take my spot! Good luck future nurses, see you on the floor!

Yes, total tuition would have been about $125,000. The max scholarship they offer is $6000 and I get about $20,000 in federal loans. They have other scholarships opportunities for current students but I couldnt bank on those to pay for school.

they accept about 20 students each week from April till June 22, which is about 160 students total. The numbers are not exact but approximations.
 

I'm wondering why they can't just send them out all at once like they do for regular college admissions.

@Su Jin Kang So they might send something later today or tomorrow? I was expecting them to send out decisions yesterday since they'd sent some out last Wednesday.

People who were notified last week, what time did you get the email that you'd be getting an admissions decisions and what time was the status update available?

OMG that's a LOT 😭 I accepted the offer for now because this was my dream school but based on what the college said and what other people are saying about NYU I don't think they're going to offer me much aid either :((

I got an email saying that an update was available around 2:30 pm EST!!

Same, I'm getting anxiety now.  But before on my albert my financial aid link didn't work, now it works but when I click it, it says "You are not *active* in a program at NYU in 2024-2025. Because of that, you may not access this page. Please contact your advisor for further assistance."  not sure if this is a good or bad sign.
