If y'all don't mind me asking, does anyone feel comfortable sharing what kind of numbers they applied with? Did anyone apply to the second degree program where you take the remainder of your prerequisites at NYU before entering the accelerated program? Also, when did y'all submit your applications?

@kmc19 yes I can share my stats...

 my undergrad cum GPA was a 3.6 and prereq GPA 3.5. I have all of my prereqs completed. I submitted my application the day before the priority deadline. Don't be nervous!

I have a 3.1 GPA, I did not take my prerequisites at NYU and currently have 2 classes in progress. I also submitted my application prior to the priority deadline.

So my GPA is weird because I transferred in the middle of my schooling. I was previously in a nursing program and had a 3.7 GPA but my last semester there, I had some major health issues and my GPA dipped a bit to a 3.5 ish. Then I transferred and changed my major and struggled a lot with surgeries and my health so I currently have an overall 3.2 at this institution. IDK if they combine them. We're on the up here LOL. But my prerequisites are mostly A's so I'm hoping that helps and I worked super hard on my essay to express my struggles and the good that has come from it and like my unique perspective due to my health struggles. Fingers crossed ??????

 

I submitted mine on like August 22 I think

Same here, I wonder if the letters are sent out at the end of each week.

Based on the application portal, "Decisions will be released weekly via this portal on a rolling basis. Most applicants can expect their decision between November and December. You will be notified via email when your decision is ready to view.” Maybe they are starting during the 1st week of November ??‍♀️. My boyfriend tells me I'm going to drive myself crazy checking daily ?, he suggest I check once a week, every Friday. I told him easier said than done but I will try. LOL.

Lmaoo I see his logic but I agree with you. I would rather get a definite result sooner than later even if it's a rejection letter; compared to loosing my hair wondering everyday. ?‍♂️

Undergraduate Admission's Office is not helpful in giving info either. They had me on hold for 35 minutes yesterday trying to find out what days of the week letters are usually sent out, only to tell me "its done on a rolling basis"...Like common man, we know that already from the portal, give me something else at least!
