New York University (NYU) ABSN fall 2019

It's a little early but I figured I would start this thread as we all begin to get our applications in!

I know...I wish there was more standardization with regards to the whole process, like when you apply to college for the first time. Every school has to let you know by the same date, you have the same response date for each school, etc.

I got accepted into another program that needs my deposit by April 30. I am hoping to know about NYU before then in order to make the best decision for myself.

I have until today to submit my deposit for another school... was hoping I’d hear back from NYU by today but it doesn’t look like that’s happening.

When I login to my portal, I only see my checklist. Does it say “in progress” or something along those lines for anyone else? Am I suppose to see something else? Or is this normal? Thanks ☺️

I would call them & explain your situation if you haven’t yet. Worse case you need to put down the deposit for your other school & wait to hear from NYU if it is your first choice. I was dealing with the same issue.

Completely normal! Mine also has my checklist. There isn't a "status" per se. Hopefully some news for us this Friday ?

There’s a possibility we’ll hear back today. I went on Fall 2018’s thread and they received decisions April 24th, which was a Tuesday.
