It's a little early but I figured I would start this thread as we all begin to get our applications in!

This wait is really killing me guys ... I have a feeling 2nd round of letters are going out at the end of this week

Same!! I'm so nervous, and don't they send out acceptance letters every 2 weeks? or is it every week?

From previous threads, I see that it was every 2 weeks since the first round was sent out April 4th and they have 2 weeks to respond and then they will send out the second round. When did you submit your application ?

Was just told that we should start hearing back “in the next few weeks” when I emailed and called them about when additional acceptances will be made available.. pretty standard reply, but I’ll take it haha

I got a similar answer as well! I called a few minutes ago regarding my application status and they said, "we won't hear back until mid-May" when I asked if decisions were being sent out

I was in the first group to be accepted and have until this Thursday to accept/reject. I think a lot of offers will come when they get a better idea of how many people accepted/rejected from the first round of acceptances. I am going to an accepted students orientation Wednesday and will be making my decision Thursday (no choice). NYU is my first choice if tuition wasn't an issue but $100k for tuition is making it a very hard decision.

I am in the same boat as you. I was accepted on April 4th, but I received my Congratuliations from Meyers email on Friday 4/12. Maybe this is a glitch, I am not sure. Did you receive your financial aid info yet? I didn't receive it yet, which is crazy...how are people deciding without this information?

I submitted it February 12th, but the transcripts got there about 2 weeks later.

@aya91 I also haven't received my financial aid info yet! I think I'm going to commit though, because there are a fair amount of external scholarships we can apply for.

On another note, does anyone know if there is a facebook group for the fall cohort in order to find housing with other students in the program?

I tried to find a Facebook group but I don’t think one has been made yet. But there is a group called NYU off campus housing where people are always posting stuff, maybe try that?

thank you! I'll check there! But also @anyone in this forum looking for roommates, please feel free to message me! I'll be new to New York and would really like to live with other students in the program
