I'm looking to get an assignment in New York, NY. Is anyone there? What are the going rates/stipends for New York.

Worked staff and did travel to NYC. A few months ago I got $35.00/hr with a $2000.00 per month housing stipend; but, that was with some hefty negotiations. If you use Cross Country, expect about $28.00/hour (without the new tax advantage rate reduction). Don't know their housing stipend, though. Also, be sure that you specify which NYC borough the job is. Manhattan is one of the five boroughs of NYC.

Cross Country quoted me 2400 a month for NYC housing stipend. Depending on where you go, that's not much.

I can not believe that they are giving only $28 an hour that is how much I make now as a staff nurse in Tulsa, OK. I am thinking about going to NYC, but I may just have to go to CA for three months and safe some money.
