Yes, Hospital of Infant Jesus is in need of staff nurse. According to the person who works at the said hospital, after the interview, comes the training for 2 months. Upon completion of the said training, trainees will be evaluated based on their performance. Those who will qualify will be given an opportunity to be a nurse reliever (or probationary perhaps) then will be hired.

I have no idea as to how long the process will be. One thing is for sure, not all who completed the training will be hired.

thanx ceftriaxone, thing is i already paid for my training at medical city which is 2500 for 1 month and i have heard that after the one month training im gonna be contractual for 3 months.on the 2nd month they will evaluate me if they are going to make me probee or extend for another 3 months contractual.then if im going to be a probee that would last for 3 months, after that 3 months that would only be the time that i would be regular staff at tmc.for infant jesus they said that they need 1000 for 1 month training.after that i dont know what the process there will be.tmc has excellent facility and i think they are in the process of jci accreditation however it is far from where i live, while infant jesus is nearer but is not well known.the lady who interviewed me was kind and she was easy to talk to at infant jesus.huhuhu i dont know which one to pick.

Hi perplexity, what specific training did you apply to in TMC? how did you apply there btw..what's the process in starting training there? does every nurse who want to become a staff there need to undergo training first before becoming a staff?

tnx in advance..:nurse:

Choose TMC! :) It's a tertiary hospital with world-class facilities and I strongly believe that with that kind of experience, it can take you anywhere!:coollook:

thanx sugarplum!!it's so far though.hehe and my classmate said that the waiting period to be hired is very indefinite.but still i think im going for tmc!thanx again!

training for staff nurse.it will start on november.i just asked my classmate who was training there before to encode my information in their database.every nurse who wants to be a staff needs to undergo that training.there would be a technical exam, psych exam, psych interview, tech interview. it was a long process of waiting.good luck to all of us.

Isn't that infant jesus is hiring for staff nurse or is it only for training? How did you apply for TMC? Is it by creating an account in their website? Do you know anyone from Medical City?

hey hot_rod infant jesus is hiring for staff nurse but i dont exactly know their process.before at tmc they only require several info from an rn such as prc no. expiry date, birthdate, board rating, so it was easy for my classmate to encode me.however right now i think you have to go there yourself because they said that there was an essay part about ur resume.my classmate trained there however he hasnt been called yet if he will be hired because he has to renew first his prc license which was a requirement since he was assigned to cath lab.

How did you apply as a trainee @ MJH? What are the requirements? are they still accepting trainee applicants? and may i ask if they have schedule for IVT training?

TIA :)

I'm planning on applying tomorrow in Hospital of the Infant Jesus. Do you think they are still accepting?

hi. i think they are still accepting. btw, let me share with you my story with Infant Jesus. so my friend and i went there to pass the requirements. it said on the list that they require a board rating of 80 and above. my friend's board rating was 79 but they still accepted her requirements. we were told to take the exam the following day. the exam has 2 parts-- essay and computation. it was ok. not that difficult. then after a week or so my friend got a call scheduling her for an interview while i didn't. but its ok :) that's life! haha. my friend just completed her training at another hospital so maybe that worked to her advantage. goodluck to you! :nurse:

I called Hospital of the Infant Jesus earlier and I talked to the information. They said they're not accepting. Is this true? I just want to know because I don't want to go there, and then they won't accept my application since I live in Muntinlupa.. sayang naman punta ko.

Thanks in advance for any response. :)

@quakeRN: When did you pass your application? I plan to go there as well. But I have the same sentiments as jenina...
