Hello...
I need some assistance..i have been a nurse for about 6 years on a med/surg and ortho units... well i recently transfered to a medical tele floor.... :chair: and needless to say I feel like hiding somewhere.. I would greatlt appreciate any tips you guys have picked up over the years...But i must say I LOVE LOVE LOVE it so far... The pt education aspect of it is amazing...

Take the ACLS course - it will give you confidence! I love Cardiology, it's dynamic with cutting edge technology that is always changing and searching for better outcomes.

It stands for advance care life support... it is a course on med drips... tele strips... emergencey situatons... actully i am taking it in june.. thanks

I thought ACLS stood for advanced CARDIAC live support. Someone tell me if I'm wrong

According to my ACLS Textbook, it stands for Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support.
sorry sorry sorry........Pretty bad.. and I just took the course......
I guess it was just a bad day at work.....
actully.. I have not taken the whole course yet.. my hospital offers it with a whole bunch of other stuff...like a critical care course.. an vent course... it is pretty coom.... a little overwhelming but cool........
