New Teas VI

Published

Hi guys,

This is my first time on here. I am looking to apply to Nursing for the school year of 2017-2018. I currently have 4 growing boys at home so the process hasn't been easy. I am registered to talk my pre requisites this coming Spring.

I just took the Teas V and didn't score as high as I wanted, I got a 72. I'm looking to take it over to hopefully get in the 80s. I know the test is changing after August 31 so it looks like I will be taking the new one. Has anyone purchased the Teas VI study guide book and also the Teas V book and noticed a significant amount of change in the material? I am debating if I should purchase the new book or countine to study from the Teas V book. Any information would be helpful.

yes the new book is deeper in anatomy and physiology. It covers almost every section in my text book from chapter 1-24. i also seen a little statistics in the math section of the new book such as skewness . The english and language seems to be the same

Thank you! Does it seem like the new Teas questions are more specific? It seems like the Teas V was a little all over the place with the questions they were asking. It felt like they asked a little bit of everything in the science and math section. Im hoping they zoomed in on a couple of subtopics this time around.

Hello everyone,

I also bought all the TEAS V study material a few months ago (2-3 books), anticipating I would have taken it sooner. Well, I have not and that deadline is quickly approaching for TEAS VI.

Do you feel it will be any easier having the calculator for the math portion? I've always heard the TEAS is harder than the HESI.

Also, where did you all purchase the guide for VI?
