Has anyone taken the latest version, the TEAS V? My test is coming up April 6. I have the ATI version V study guide, and the McGraw Hill book.
What should I be sure to study when it comes to the latest version of the test?
The school I want to attend gives points for the English and reading sections only.
Are they hard?
What's the reading section about?
What's the English section like?
Thanks!
If anyone can explain it throughly either on here or PM me thy would be great.
Also anyone know if you can buy the ATI practice book used or from like Barnes and noble? I don't think you would need it after you take the test and your satisfied with your score.
I just took this test myself, & as you have probably already figured out, the Science part is WAY different from the study guide. I hope you did well. I should get my results any day now...Question for you...do you know where I can go to find my results? I went to www.atitesting.com & if that is where I am supposed to go, I have no idea where to look. Thank you & good luck!
Yes...I went to www.atitesting.com & was able to register for the test. You just enter the location, & it will show the available dates.
they weren't really THAT hard. Just read things very carefully so you don't overlook something. On the reading, you have to read passages & then answer a couple of quest pertaining to it...main point, what kind of writing was the passage (narrative, technical, expository, etc)
English mainly covered the uses of the words. They would give you a sent, then you have to pick what a certain word in the sent means. There are also a few fill in the blanks, & spelling.
I'm very scared about the science portion now. I took the online practice tests, and it's pretty difficult. Do not rely on Teas book alone. It gives you a general idea, but you should dive deeper into the subjects by reviewing your notes. I don't think I'm going to pass, and my college won't allow me to retake the teas until a year later.
I just took the Teas V Test. There is a lot of scientific reasoning. (applying it to different hypothesis) Reading is the same style as the study guide. There are only a few algebra questions. One algebra question has expotents, paranthesis, and brackets. Make sure you brush up on your earth and physical science. Know capitlization rules and review mispelled words. Good Luck!

Did you purchase any of the exams at ATI . I found it extremely helpful. I've not taken the test yet, but did take the ATI exam and it helped me to see my strength's and weakness as well as give me an idea about what I will see on the test. I found it to be a great study tool.
Good Luck.:heartbeat
