New Student - What do I need?

I am starting nursing school in August. Can you guys give me some advice on what I will need and what to expect as a new student. Stuff like laptop, study materials, etc. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Specializes in Case Mgmt, Anesthesia, ICU, ER, Dialysis.

Taber's for the dictionary, Lippincott's Nurse Practitioner's drug guide.

Thank you all so much for the replies. I will be starting Baptist in San Antonio. I have finished all of the prereqs so this will be the actual nursing classes that I will be starting.

Im starting the night program at Baptist and was wondering about what we needed as well. I wonder if we will get a list?

Pen light

Watch w/ a second hand Lab coat

White shoes

Required books and a couple of NCLEX study guides. (The questions of the subject matter here are the correct format and offer rationale as to why the right answer is the MOST correct)
