You're definately not the only one who feels that way. I'm in my 2nd week of my first semester of nursing school. I look around at everyone and I know they must feel the same as I do. Many of us are already forming study groups so we can help and support one another.
Best of wishes to you in nursing school!

I start my nursing program on Aug. 29. I am SO extremely excited! But at the same time I'm a little nervous because I feel like I don't know what I'm about to get myself into. I've heard how hard it is going to be, and I don't feel like I'm prepared to handle it. But at the same time, I know I can do anything. It's just going to take a lot of time management and self-control. I've been playing all summer, and now it's time to get on track. I'm doing the accelerated program at my school, so I'll be going straight for 5 semesters.
I think about how hard it's going to be, but then I think about all the nurses before me that accomplished what they set out to do. I know if they can do it, I can too.
I'm sure there are new student nurses who are just getting started who probably feel the same way I do. It's nice to know I'm not alone.
I'm also starting a new school this year. I transferred from another college, so everything is going to be new to me for a while.
I'm trying to be positive in this whole experience, despite all my fears and anxieties.
