new student in nursing

Published

hello everyone, i am just starting my nursing career and I am presently studying at Kaplan College. I have been out of school environment for quit a long time and I am catching up to all the responnsibilities that a normal student have. I am really adjusting to my new phase of life and it feels like it is a lot of hard work reaching my ultimate goal of becoming a registered nurse. As of now, I am on my first semester. My subjects are Anatomy and Physiology, Sociology, and NURS100 Academic Strategies. There are a lot of homework especially reading assignments and take home test. We also have a presentation in Sociolgy. In Anatomy and Physiology, we also have exercises to submit, slide of different tissues to study and examination coming up. I have been reading a lot of time and have avoided television, movies, time at the couch, chatting in the net and phone, and playing cards and table games. I cannot give up my hobby of exercising because I want to keep my body healthy. I am managing my time and focus on my priority list.

Please tell me what else I need to do to strengthen my study strategies.
