I am a couple of weeks into a nursing program and already I feel completely emerged into the student life. Unfortunately, there is no other choice, you do the work or you fail classes, and have to spend a couple more thousand dollars to repeat a course. The evening time is when I used to relax and watch movies after the kids went to bed. I have not watched a movie in two weeks; it goes to shows how dedicated I am to school. Normally, I would watch a new movie every night, so I guess school is the antidote to what I thought was an addiction.
I never have had problems with school, my grades have always been outstanding, but for some I'm not as confident this time around. I could also be that changes in my personal life depend on getting a registered nurse license. Another, thing it could be is that I finally am right where I have dreamed of being and am afraid to fail, think of it as standing on the highest point of a cliff and looking down. Take things one step at a time is what I've heard. Don't worry about things that have not even happened is another. To get through this next year and a half these are the things that I have to remind myself of constantly. Thanks for listening!!

NS is a horse of a different color, a whole new way of thinking/learning which could also be one of the reasons you dont feel as confident this time. You sound like you are right on track and have a good grip on everything. Keep on keeing on, it will be over before you know it. Good luck
