New RN Moving -> Seattle VS Portland (OR)

Relatively new RN and looking to move to the Pacific Northwest next fall. Right now I'm considering Seattle Vs Portland (OR).

Has anybody recently moved too, or currently work in one of these cities that can give me any input?

I'm in my early twenties, single, social and enjoy the outdoors.

Trying to live cheaply as reasonably possible while living in the vicinity of a hospital or social hub.

I heard starting RN salary is around $40/hr in Portland???

Trying to stick to pediatrics or ICU
