New RN, finally found a job:)

I am so excited that I finally found a job:) I have been licensed since August and have applied to over 50 jobs with no luck.I recently found out that I had been chosed for the one I really wanted and I am so excited! Now I am just waiting on a start date.

I am writing this so all the new grads out there have some hope. Good luck:);)

Thanks everyone. I can't wait to start. It's been 9 months and I am so ready. I think they help pay for continuing education, so I can get started on my BSN:)

Did you find the position through the USPHS? Or did you get hired as a civil servant through the VA? :)

Congrats!! If you don't mind me asking...which VA it is...some VA's are very particular in hiring ADN vs BSN due to trying to get Magnet status. I'm happy for you that you got in! Great place to work...I worked as an LVN for them in CA. :yeah:
