new position...salary question

I apologize if this is the wrong forum...and someone please redirect me if it is...but I have the opportunity to move from a 4.5 years of exp floor nurse to a house supervisor. I have no idea what toexpect in the way of salary...I would be happy wo make slightly more than what I do now. Yet, I don't want to sell myself short. Any ideas? It's a small hospital with several units (med/surg, icu, ed, ob, geri psych, oncology). I have a BSN and am working on my MSN. Thoughts? Thank you :)

Have you tried looking up the company in Glassdoor to see if someone has posted salaries? Otherwise do an internet search on salaries for that position in similar settings you can usually find a good range that way, good luck!

Congrats. I was recently in a similar position. Salary.com has a useful salary guide, and see if you can get any info from people you may know in similar positions. And if it's after hours and/or weekends be sure to ask how that is reimbursed.
