http://www.jobs.wa.gov.au/ Generally have nursing jobs posted on there. Perhaps try private as well.
As far as I can tell the 10% budget cut has hit Royal Perth really hard and they aren't taking on any new staff, even the grad program has been cut so none of us are getting full time work. I'm not sure about the other hospitals but I'm sure it would be a rather similar story. As far as RPH goes they aren't taking on new staff but they are still using a lot of agency staff so perhaps that might be the way to go.
Nurse Jo,
There's shortage of nurses but i would say it would be in the rural or country areas..like the outback...good money too. Some of the nurses who just finished their grad year this year (talking about melbourne) wasn't able to get a full time postion so they ended up joining casual/bank or pool nursing where they can be called when 1 nurse call in sick..did you consider going interstate??Joining agency is a good way to start with so you can scout for vacancies and one way of advertising yourself to hospitals.. All the best on your job hunting!!

Hello,
I am new to Perth and actively searching for a cardiac RN job. I am wondering if anyone can shed some light/give me some tips about getting a way into getting a job in Perth.
I have been in contact with a few people from health services and hospitals directly, with no luck. Royal Perth Hospital says they are not accepting resumes (including the last 2 months). I thought everyone needed nurses??
If anyone can help, I'd love some advice. Thanks,
Jo
