Yes I did receive my acceptance letter before hurricane Katrina hit. Originally I was to begin Jan 06 but the class has been set for April 06. I was told that orintation letters will go out at the end of this month. Orintation should be the beginning of Feb. Did you receive your acceptance letter? Are you from N.O? If so,what part?

Thats great that New Orleans is trying so hard to get back to normal. I know there is much work to do, but its good to see nursing schools opened . Have family in Baton Rouge, and they have not been back to N.O. since katrina. Good Luck in school!

No, I have not received the letter yet. I hope to get it when they send em' out on the 23rd- to start in the fall 06. I know that they are doing an intersession for students to catch up/ get back on a timely track....... so I hope that this does not push things further back for me.

good luck...[ ]I hope things work out for you. I can honestly say that I understand how hard the wait can be. I hope that everyone can receive this very needed info in a timely matter, this will enable students to make whatever decision they need to make. I'll comtinue to keep my fingers crossed and hopefully something will eventually give. Please keep me posted and I'll:rotfl: inform you when I receive any further info.
