I'm in need of a good shoe for my clinicals this coming semester. I have an extremely high arch. I was going to get a pair of danskos, which is what my sister wears as a nurse, however my shoes have to be all white, no mesh, lace-up, no slide-ins or clogs...etc. So, that kind of killed my original idea. I don't mind spending some money because I'm used to spending money on my shoes since my feet kill me if I don't.

Okay, this is a picture of the nursing shoes I wore waaaay back in the day. But let me tell you: I know they look old fashioned, but they are the most comfortable shoes for people who will be on their feet for very long periods of time.
I am in the Army now, but I still wear them! They look cool in scrubs, as well:smokin:
www.clinicshoe.com/ They are called Clinic Womens Shoes: Pert. Cost $96.00 but IMHO worth every penny!

although the dansko "professional" doesnt lace up, would this one be off limts too, it's not a slip on that doesnt have a back to it.
Thanks for the advice! Sorry it took so long for me to reply, I've been doing some last minute things for nursing school. Plus, I work in retail so we're finishing up our holiday stuff. :)
