I live in VA but there are only a few schools in the area and all have a huge waiting list for the Nursing programs. I am able to and will move just about anywhere to get into school without waiting 2+years. Also are there any hospitals that I can work for and go to school at the same time with them paying for my tuition with a contract. I've heard of this but don't know what hospitals actually do it. Tuition really isnt a problem and neither is moving across country if I have to. Any schools that are easy to get into without the waiting lists? Any hospital based programs? Thanks for any info.

Are you looking for a BSN?
University of Maryland has a pre-nursing program that guarantees you a spot in their nursing program if you maintain a certain GPA. Unless you get into a program like that, you'll want to start taking pre-reqs somewhere and apply to various nursing schools separately.
You might want to check your local state colleges and see what their program qualifications are for the programs. Waiting lists actually aren't that common so it might just be the schools near you that have them.
As far as hospitals paying tuition, with the current economy that is flooded with nurses, it'd be a rare hospital to offer such a thing. Possibly in some remote rural areas (north dakota?) but otherwise, probably not.

Patience is a virtue? Nah, I'm just kidding. I can't say I know of any nursing schools that are "easy" to get into. It is so competitive these days that you really need to be on top of your A game and be one step ahead of the next person.

I can't say I've ever heard of a waiting list. Any BSN program is going to be competitive. I'd talk to all of the programs and have them tell you the requirements. Then ace your pre-reqs and apply everywhere. If you ace your pre-reqs the doors will open for you.
