I recently took my LPN Nclex @ April 10, 2007 here in San Francisco, CA. And I know about the 2-3 weeks waiting period to get your results. But does that 2-3 week period include the weekends? Its already the 25th of april and still nothing!! And I also know that CA does not participate in the quick result program. So I think I found a way to find out your score but not really sure if its legit. I visited BVNPT online and checked out online License Verification and I don't see my name when I looked it up. Does that mean I DID NOT PASS!!!! My classmate and I looked for his and found his (But he took the test months before I did)! I'm not sure if they post it at the website when they get the results from the testing site or when you actually get your license from the board since it does say license verification. I dont know! Can anybody help me on this? I just want to know!

I think you have to wait until you receive a passing letter through the mail for your name to appear on the website. Good luck on your results as you know california take about 3 weeks and a couple of days to receive your results. Just wait patiently thats all we can do! What number did you stop at on your nclex?

I found my name five days after I took the NCLEX including Sat and Sun, but as far as I know the board of nursing didn't update their list during sat and sunday. Most people who took and passed the NCLEX found their names few days after they took the test, but wait for the letter to confirm. Goodluck!

Yes your name will be on there website as an official RN if you provided the board a valid US SSN. Check the website www.rn.ca.gov
I stopped at 186. I don't know if I passed everyones stopping at 85! I know I'm borderline passing and failing. I hope I passed!

That is for the Registered Nurse. For the LVN, different procedure and they are not under the BRN.
The practical nursing license is handled different in CA from every other state. They do not have you pay for the license until you have actually passed the NCLEX-PN exam. You will need to wait until you get your letter, and with it will be a bill for $100, if you passed. You will need to submit that before you will see your name on their website. They do not issue a license until they have the money for it.
Average wait time is three weeks plus, not two weeks. If you get results in two weeks, then consider that a blessing, but it is not the norm.
Best of luck to you.:balloons:
If they are overseas, and gave the BRN a SSN#, they would be issued an actual license and not a letter. Since the poster knows that he passed the NCLEX exam, it means that they received the results by snail mail.
No SSN#, therefore no license issued, and no name on the BRN website.

:oi took california rn nclex 3/21/07 and i got my result by mailed 4/18/07. i did not make it .the result comes out im all "near passing standard" its 75 questions (2hrs test). i thought i passed but i was wrong. im schedule to take it this june.
but when i took my lpn the following day 3/22/07 and i received my mailed 4/17/07. i passed and very happy with mixs feeling i did not expects to happen b'coz its took me 4hrs to test 205 question.
nclex is a torture esp. california b'coz of the waiting to get the result.some of my friend got their result 3days , 10days, 3weeks and some of them 1month. i dont understand why its takes that long.and some of them they found out in brn website. i dont get it. i wish i found out early so i could apply in different state. and the bad thing also, you already passed still you have to wait 3-5 wks for processing and the processing fee is $120 to get your actual license. plus you endorse your license if your live in different state. but enought with the heartache. ......good luck everyone.
