Hello! This is my first post, as I am a new member as of today. I am happy to have found the AllNurses site. I am an LPN working in a doctors office in Ft. Myers, that belongs to the Lee Memorial Health System. I look forward to meeting others in the nursing profession, and having some helpful discussions relating to the many problems that can arise in a doctors office setting. :o Along with having some fun meeting new people!

Hi nurnea, and welcome to allnurses. It is a wonderful site. I live in cape coral, but spend alot of time in ft. myers. Can you tell me a little about a typical day working in a dr.s office. Also what are your favorite things about your job and the things you don't like? Do you go to the beach much????I'm an absolute beachbum, but I only get there like once or twice a month.Well hope to hear from ya soon.

HI AND WELCOME. I WORK IN AN OUTPT. SETTING AND HAVE A COLLABORATIVE RELATIONSHIP WITH THE PSYCHIATRIST. I HAVE GOOD FRIENDS IN NAPLES AND GO THERE A FEW TIMES A YEAR-LOVE SANIBEL ALSO. TAKE CARE AND AGAIN, GLAD TO HAVE YOU!

Hello! I'm a new member too. :)

I'm a new RN and looking for a job here in Fort Myers. I tried getting in the Internship program at Lee Memorial but unfortunately didn't get in. Maybe someone here could help me or refer me. I really don't know what to do. Thanks!
