Hello nursing fam! I just joined today and I am applying for admission to TWU Dallas for Spring 2012. I'm a current student at TWU here in Denton. I have been studying the teas study manual already and plan on taking it at near the end of July or beginning of August. So is anyone else applying for the TWU Dallas nursing location next spring as well?? I'm excited and looking forward in keeping contact with many nursing students. It can be an extremely stressful process but sharing it with others in similar situations can balance that stress! :D

Hey I am also applying for the 2012 spring program. Im taking the teas end of july or beginning of August as well. What are your grades like?

Yay! My first responder:D

Well I completed all my nursing cores with A's but, received a C in the A&P2 lab..ugh! But it's not bad in my case cause I spoke to the coordinator at the nursing program and she told we where to fill out the nursing gpa worksheet. Mine accumulated to a 3.78 and with the adjusted gpa (of 32 hrs or more at twu campus) I would have a 4.1. So if you have a few grades lower than an A u might want to fill it out. Just type in nursing gpa calculation in the search browser on twu website. Make sure u select the first degree student worksheet though! Hey! I havent had anyone reply to my post lol. But yea I have A's and some B's. I also got a C in a&p 2 lab so i hope that doesnt affect my gpa. Im pretty sure you will get in :) SO yea that would be very helpful if you could give me a little more information on how to get the calculation worksheet. Is it on twu website?? Thanks for your help!

Yes it is on the TWU website; this is the url for the page: http://www.twu.edu/nursing/gpa-calculation-course-equivalencies.asp. You can just copy and paste it to your search browser and use the first two tabs on the page under the gpa calculation section. (the instructions and first degree worksheet) And you will have it! So when do you plan on taking your teas exam?

Yeah but then again I can be a bad timed test taker :uhoh3: so we will see! hopefully I at least score 75% I been studying hard already though!
