Has anyone heard of a new LPN program coming to Baltimore. When I called they said the classes start in August or September. I found this at Craigslist under MED TECHS on June 18. I was wondering if anyone else heard of this.

Hello Metts22,
So, where exactly is the location where the classes are going to be held?? I know they said West B-more. Good Luck on the test.
Metts22,
Oh ok, so you decided to go with the one in DC. That's good.

Yes. I think that the one in DC may be better unless I can find some more information on the school in Baltimore. But I heard some good things about Comprehensive and the people that I talked to seem to really like it. So I am going to go with the best statistics and thats Comprehensive. I dont think that I want to chance this new school in Baltimore, because that would be a year wasted if their not approved by the maryland state board. Atleast thats my opinion I dont know how anyone else would feels about it.
Hello,
I had asked the lady that returned my call and she said it is Accredited. (That was my concern). I would love to stay in Baltimore to attend school, but if this not work out, I will go to Howard Comm. I need the evening/ weekend course and Howard has eve. classes.
what is the name of the school? Did you try to get more information online? Or did you try to talk to someone from MBON? But if you can tell me the name of the school it would be helpful!!!
She said Career Development Institute. So, we will see...........????????????????????????????????
Well Lynn120,
Good Luck! Let me know what the outcome is. I will try to do some research of my own for this school also. If i come up with anything i will let you know!
Also...I am tryin to find it on craiglist but it seems a difficult. What exactly did you go to. I went to Baltimore and then from there it kind of got a little fuzzy..lol..

Well I called and left her a message. Honestly dont be discouraged about this school. Just do some research. Not every school or program will be on the MBON. I went to a Nursing Assistant program last summer and the school wasnt listed on the MBON page and I dont believe it still is and they were very new and I still went through with the program and i graduated last summer and to find out they were an accredited program and everything. So dont lose hope! Just gather some research and make calls and everything should be ok. When I find out anymore information I will definitely let you know.
Thank you Metts22,
I will not lose hope. Thanks again. I'm anxious about the outcome in the end.
i am pretty sure it will definitely all work out in the end. did you think about going to [color=#0000cc]sojourner-douglass college? their lpn course is a year as well they have day classes also. its from 8am-4pm. if you need pre req's i believe some of their classes are at night.
