Published

passed boards in nov and i can't find a job no where in miami! i've applied everywhere even in different counties. everyone wants experience! how am i suppose to get experience if no one hires me. i have my iv therapy and everything...even home health are asking for for experience or not hiring at all. lol...i'll keep praying :nurse::nurse::nurse::nurse: and start my pre req for RN in summer! after BSN i will be moving up north...

I'm in the same situation here in Pa-keep trying!!

I'm in the same boat here in the DC area and it is very frustrating to say the least. I'm gonna start registering for classes sometime this summer hopefully. At least one class in the summer and make sure it's an easy class at that. Keep looking you'll find something, don't give up I'm not.

I am the same...I am worried to go back to the US because i know i might get stuck in the house for a few months not having one placce of work to hire me since, I just passed my NCLEX-PN last November:nurse: and no job available in CA East bay area...should I just extend my stay here in Manila or go back....?? :crying2::crying2:..HOW DO YOU GET EXPERIENCE WHEN THEY DONT WANT TO HIRE YOU AND GIVE YOU THE EXPERIENCE YOU NEED??

same here in NYC, just look at the job websites, nothing for LPNs

same here in Ga, Im thinking its better if you know someone who works in a nursing home or something.

Indianapolis has alot of lpn work..The pay will be between 18 to 22 dollars an hour.may be the low end since ur new and depending on the place..Most the work is in LTC..I have been in indy for around 17 years its a good place to raise a family if u dont mind about four months of winter...the cost of living is average..anyways good luck..

Are you trying all areas or are you only looking into one field (for example hospital work)? I am a little north of you in Brevard county and just graduated in Dec and 1/2 my class who hasn't even took the boards yet have been offered jobs. But they are nursing home, va and prison nurse jobs. Just make LOTS of phone calls and send lots of resumes out. Good luck!
