Since you're so close to the border of Oregon I would consider endorsing license to Oregon as well as you could cross stateline and have more chances for employment in the Portland metro area. The process took me about a little over one month. You'll need finger prints taken and sent to the state of Washington. Get ready for the rain and most of all the gloom lol. I never noticed an abundance of jobs in south Washington but there are a ton of LPN jobs in the Puget sound area for sure! :))
THANK YOU SO MUCH THAT HELPED!!!
I FEEL SO MUCH BETTER:)
Definitely going to USE YOUR ADVICE
Good luck to you :) Vancouver is pretty! Portland is gorgeous. Hope you have good car insurance cuz there are so many rocks chip incidents in Washington and north Oregon lol!

I am in the northern Puget Sound area..just got here a few months ago.
Its a beautiful place
Puget is too far for me to drive.
How many weeks exactly did it take for Washington to endorse you?
Do you think it possible for me to get a job by August as a New LPN GRAD.
I'm filling out applications now.
THANKS IN ADVANCE!

Kaiser permanente. I came from California, and my endorsement took about 6-8 weeks, but I think the hold up was on the California side. Clark college has a lpn to rn bridge program. Ditto about getting the Oregon license as well.
I live too far north to get an OR license. I am closer to Canada
I think you can, but the market from what I remember is more tough in southern Washington and in Oregon in general for LPNs.. It can be done I'm sure if you aren't too picky. 5-8 weeks for endorsement is accurate from California lol. CA doesn't use nursys -.-'.
