New job question?

Hello, I just joined this blog today. I am a newly licensed LPN and I just got a job at a Coshocton, Ohio ECF. I was wondering (Cause i forgot to ask in my interview) if there was anyone here who works in this part of ohio what the starting wages for LPNs were in this area. I have recently moved from NW Ohio and was not sure if the pay rate averages were the same in this area? Though I know it largely depends on which facility/company your work for. Thank you! :)

prior to interviewing, i did plenty of research about the company and asked several current employees about the "culture" of the organization. i went prepared to ask questions to learn more about them. i mentioned that in my op.

as for being a fresh-outta-school-new-nurse / first job seeking candidate for the few and far between lpn jobs in this area, to be perfectly honest, the wage was not the priority. the willingness to hire an inexperienced but mature person, a half-time position that is benefitted (!), and working a schedule that won't turn me into a zombie, were!

they told me during the first interview what the pay scale was; it was at the 2nd interview that they told me what i'd be making.

ok then but you didn't mention in your earlier posts that you knew your starting wage.

there are numerous web sources to investigate salary ranges for your area if nobody here can help.
