Hi All,

I would love to learn more about the nursing program from someone who has gone to, or who is currently attending SFSON. I start class in the fall, 2012. I completed my pre-reqs at MCCC.... I am so excited for the program to begin, but also very nervous.

Thanks!

Hi nutley,

I am also starting SFSON this fall and I am soooo excited to begin. I completed ALL of my prerequisites from MCCC as well, so I am glad to have those out of the way. I work at RWJ in Hamilton, and have spoken with a few SFSON past graduates and they all had really good things to say about the program. Hopefully we can keep in touch being that we will be classmates. I'm also looking forward to hearing from past or current nursing students on any information they can share about the program. Look forward to hearing from you all!!

Hi Elliott143,

It is nice to meet my first classmate! I loved taking classes at MCCC, I was very fortunate and had wonderful instructors. I have heard all great things about the program also, I am just anxious to talk to someone who has actually attended St. Francis. (I've heard so many different opinions about the SFSON from the MCCC nursing students) Thank you for your reply, and let's keep in touch!

I will be also starting the program at Saint Francis SON in Fall 2012. I was just wondering whether we can buy used books( older edition). Do you have the books already or are you going to buy them from school? Please reply.

I am just starting my pre req's at MCCC and will be attending St. Francis School of Nursing next Fall. I will have finished all of my pre req's prior to September, 2013. Does anyone know what the schedule is like for the actual nursing program. Is it all day 5x a week? Just trying to get an idea of what type of job I will need to get while doing the actual nursing program, as I am going to have to work while going to school

If anyone has any suggestions, I would appreciate it.

Thanks

Well I'm thinking of applying for it for next year

Did you ever do the program at St Francis? I'm interested in the program and would love to hear from someone who attended the school.
