New graduate residency programs

Hi all! I'm relocating to NC in about 2 months and am happy to see a few hospitals have new graduate RN residency programs. Has anyone participated in any new grad program or applied for the latest one? Just interested in what you may have heard since I am not in NC yet and have no scoop!

My sister is in one at Cape Fear in Fayetteville. She really likes it. She relocated from Louisiana.

I'm in one (with a lot of people from my class) at Alamance Regional Medical Center in Burlington, and several from my class are in at Duke and one or two are in the one at Moses Cone. I've had a great experience with mine so far.

I started in one with Novant in winston-salem. I loved it, it was really helpful to have an extended orientation and the classes they offered for us were invaluable. Best of luck!

Thanks everyone! I just received my temp number and have applied to a few new grad programs. Ill be closer to the Raleigh area but am not opposed to a bit longer of a commute!

I applied to the Duke Clinical Nurse I residency program and start on Monday the 21st. Everyone seems really nice and I'm looking forward to joining the organization. They have a great reputation and seem to be up to date on the latest evidence based practice.
