New Graduate Nurses in NC Military Hospitals

Specializes in OB.

Hello,

I will be an ADN new graduate in May of 2007, and I am interested in either Camp Lejeune or Fort Bragg Military Hospitals to work in OB, does anyone know whethere or not they take new grads, and if so, who do I need to contact?

Thanks

Specializes in US Army.

Here are the places you need to look for any federal jobs- USAJOBS - The Federal Government's Official Jobs Site & Civilian Personnel On-Line -just narrow your search to NC. Womack Army Medical Center in Fort Bragg also uses a nursing agency to fill certain positions on post. Best bet will be to contact the Department of Nursing on the WAMC link and ask which agency has the contract. Womack Army Medical Center

Good luck to you.

You woudl have to call each facilty, some do and some dont. but that website listed earlier would be the place to put your application and to start.

Specializes in Ortho, Med surg and L&D.

I dont know about Ft Bragg, but here at fort Hood (texas) the only area of the hospital that they hire new grads in is OB. Your best bet would be to call.
