I know, it's hard for new grads. I got my LPN license Sept. 21 & just received my first interview and job offer last week. Yesterday, another facility that I applied to in person called me for an interview as well. Remember that the personal touch is always best. I've sent out loads of online applications and heard nothing, or received a rejection e-mail. I called the clinic that hired me and asked if they were accepting application. They said yes and said to fill out the application online, and to also e-mail it directly to the Clinical Director. I did, along with a copy of my resume and a cover letter. A few days later, I e-mailed a follow up to make sure she received it. We e-mailed back & forth a few times before she called me for an interview. I told her I'm flexible & willing to work any shift, full-time or part-time. To get your foot in the door, you have to be flexible and persistent.
Oh, I've never been a CNA, so I am totally inexperienced! You'll find a job. You just have to be patient. Good luck!!
