New Grads in NICU

Do most NICUs accept new grads? Or do you need previous experience before they will take you in?

You mentioned that you work at a local agency in the DC area...I was just curious of the name of this agency. I live in working distance of DC and have been looking at possible places that offer to assist with your education as well as offer a job opportunity. Thank you :)

Actually, I just asked my contact person for the scholarship since I have a neice interested in becoming a nurse. She said there won't be any new scholarships after next year. Such a shame too. If you want to inquire anyway (I may not have all the information) email me and I will give you the contact information.

There is an open house with the same company at one of their hospital locations, Prince George's Hospital Center, and the NICU should be there. I think its the 16th of June. Go to http://www.dimensionshealth.org and see the promo for nursing student open house.
