New Grads - having difficulty getting hired?

That's what I hear from senior nursing students that I precept.

it sure was 2 years ago, but as soon as you get some experience it gets easier.

As a recent grad from MSU's accelerated program I can say that I haven't heard anyone from my cohort complain of troubles. Most got specialties they were seeking, and some even had offers from multiple competitive nurse residencies.

It's unfortunate that there is so much bias indicating that CU and Regis have better programs (and smarter students, as one recruiter mistakenly indicated to me during an interview). I chose metro purposefully because I wanted an accelerated program that was longer than 12 months (that seemed crazy to me and I have kiddos).
