New grad @ Virtua Memorial Hospital - Mt. Holly

Just graduated from University in April and have not landed a single interview anywhere in PA or MD. But one of my immediate family members works at Virtua as a RN.

They have a FT night position available for me to fulfill and I was wondering if anyone knew what they started new grads at.

Is there anyone out there that knows what a new grad at Virtua Mt. Holly makes?? It is a med-surg floor I will be placed on...

Honestly I would go ahead and take it anyhow. It probably starts ~$28 or so with a differential for night shift. If you don't like it, do your year, get your experience, and then leave. It's better than no job and there just aren't that many around the area for new grads.

My first job was a night shift job 20 years ago. As a new grad I was grateful and made $16 an hour. After a year I moved on to a day position at another facility and got $16.50 an hour. It's the way it goes.

Virtua is a very nice organization and most nurses like it there; good benefits too. I hear they start around$28 an hour plus shift diff- try it on for size.
