Hello all

Does anyone have an opinion or similar experience? I'm torn between a peds clinic job and subacute rehab within a ltc facility.

Rehab is nights m-f no weekends.

Peds is rotating 8-4 with weekends. (Some late days required)

Which are is more suited for new grads? Where will I get the best experience? Also if I work in one area, does it make it harder to branch out?

Hi Hibbz,

I'm probably late on the draw. Congrats of the offers :)! I think that it depends on what your future goals are. I'm still a student and haven't had the chance to work peds yet. If your looking to move to a hospital soon, I would say go with LTC subacute rehab. The one I got to do a rotation at was busy all the time and there was a lot I got to see there. The patient load is heavier, but you learn a lot.
