Hello All!
I am in some need of a nursing family out here. I have recently moved from West Virginia after completing my BSN degree at WVU and moved out here with my boyfriend who is a pharmacist for CVS. I had no idea that it would be this difficult in finding something. I have applied to well over 400 jobs now at least 3 hours north and 3 hours south of me. I am getting so frustrated and disappointed and I have no one to turn to out here. I would really appreciate any guidance from nurses in my area, since I have no friends, no nursing friends, and no family that can even point me in the right direction. WVU is a Magnet, Level 1 Trauma Center hospital and I have had extensive hands on experience in all fields. I have full confidence in myself to walk on to any floor and not be overwhelmed. I am really just needing some help an advice. Thank you to everyone who took the time to read this!

This reminds me alot of my situation! I graduated in May from LSU with my BSN and moved to the Bay Area with my bf who's in the Air Force. Like you, I had NO idea it would be so difficult find a job! I'm still searching. I try to stay positive, but sometimes I can't help thinking about all the connections and opportunities I left behind at home. Just know that you're definitely not alone! There's at least one person in the same boat :)
Thanks girl, let me know if you hear anything. I've been looking on craigslist for jobs but I still haven't found anything. I left a lot of connections and basically dream jobs when I left, too, so we are basically the same person right now! Hopefully something will turn up for us soon!

I'm down in Southern California, lived here all my life, just graduated in May with my BSN, on top of two other associate degrees. I've put in many many applications myself, and have had four interviews. Nothing. It's getting really embarrassing and demoralizing.
This next go-around, I'm having to apply out of state as well. It's scary out there for us all. Try and keep your head up (how many times have you heard that one?) and we'll get there.
