New Grad RN's

Published

Hello, GA Nurses! Is it true that Georgia doesn't like to hire new grads? I've worked in Georgia as an LPN and didn't have any problems finding employment. However, I'm set to graduate from RN school soon and have heard many myths about new grad RNs having trouble finding employment in Georgia. Any input would be appreciated!

You might want to be more specific about where in Georgia - "Georgia" itself doesn't do the hiring, it's going to depend on your area. ;) People have asked about this recently, too. I will see if I can find the discussion.

Here are some new grads discussing their starting salaries: https://allnurses.com/georgia-nursing/new-grad-salary-945857.html

If you scroll down to the bottom of the forum, you'll see a search box you can use to search the forum. Good luck in the remainder of your program! :)

I will also be looking to work in Georgia--specifically in the Atlanta area in a couple of years. I will actually be looking for work initially as an LPN and was curious to know what areas you were able to fins work in
