New Grad RN-Starting first job!

Hey everyone. I just recently committed to Memorial Hermann's Surgical Care Unit for my first job as an RN! I was wondering g if anyone has had any experience with Memorial Hermann or working on the surgical care unit? Also, for any nurses that have or used to work for them, do you remember anything about your orientation experience? I go to Culture Day on the 30th and an wondering what to expect.

Just for clarification - you are referring to the TMC facility (original Hermann) rather than one of the other Memorial-Hermann facilities, right?

No I'm sorry! I should've been more clear! But if you have any info on culture day I'd really appreciate it. All I know is that new employees from all locations will meet up at one central location.

Yes you are right, all new hires for Memorial Hermann, regardless of what facility they will be working at goes through "Culture Day" in the Culture Day center at Memorial City. It's an 8-4pm "fun filled" affair (Be prepared to participate). I'm pretty sure you'll meet future co-workers in that event.

Hey! I saw that you just got hired at Memorial Hermann for their residency position. I am planning to apply there in the future. Do you know the starting pay for the new grads at Memorial Hermann?
