How everyone doing. I am Chfhosa and will be starting my last semester in Nursing school. I want to start getting my resume ready, but am not sure what it should entail since I am only a student right now and do not have much experience in nursing. Should I include resume info from a previous career (U.S. Naval Officer)? Has anyone used a professional resume writer and, if so, is there anyone that is recommended?
Very respectfully,
Chfhosa

Since I am a new graduate and don't have any nursing experience, I added my last two jobs (which are the only ones I have ever had) and skills I have in geriatrics, med/surg, etc. I also added in my strengths in communication and things like that.
I hope that helped a little. :)

You may want to call your school's student service center and see if they have resume writing seminars or people that you can talk to one-on-one about writing your resume. I've used services like these at two different schools, and they were extremely helpful about what to include when you have little or no experience, what to write if you are a career-changer, how to write your cover letter based on your past experiences, etc. They gave out tons of resume samples which also really helped. So you may want to consider trying this.....Best of Luck!
