Make sure you have your TX license before you apply for jobs.. employers are not willing to wait on that process these days.
The formal new grad programs (internships, residencies, etc) are usually geared toward Spring grads, so don't expect to get into one of those. However,if an employer is willing to hire new grads, they will have a structured orientation process for you.

Hi everyone! I will be graduating in exactly 45 days and very soon after I will be relocating to Houston, TX. This is all new to me and with the abrupt relocation doesnt make anything easier
. After reading several other threads, I have learned to seek employment outside the TMC. But I am still finding things to be equally difficult. Is anyone familiar of any locations hiring new grads?
