Published

Anyone go through the job fair/interview on February 5th? Or will attend the job fair/interview on February 12th?

Was informed the new grads will likely start in March.

Did anyone hear back from Tele?

hi everyone, I did go the job fair on 2/12 at Culver City.

I did get a text for the second interview with the unit manager, did anyone get a similar text?

I got a text for the second interview as well! I'm having a quick call tmrw for more details

Has anyone done a second interview with them? I am curious as to what more they can ask since the first interview was pretty in depth.

From my experience, I had a second interview with the manager of the unit I was applying for (ICU). My first interview was with the manager of Urgent Care. I was offered the position the following day.

Did anyone that interviewed for MedSurg hear back?

I don't mind sharing. The interview was conducted by the manager to which ever department you apply for. I suggest going early because there was a large turnout and some were waiting for a long time.

Questions were easy. Asked about yourself and your goals. They were very clear that you will likely work nights and they stress that you must be flexible with that. They did ask one work related question; what do you do before administering medications? The answer she was looking for was to use two identifiers. Verbal name and birthdate and not to rely on the scanner.

No, it was not on the spot hire. I was followed up with a second interview via phone/zoom. I was then offered a position the following day.

Awesome! Thank you so much for sharing your experience. If you don't mind, could you also share what kind of questions were asked during the second interview?

Honestly, the questions were roughly the same. I was not asked any clinical scenario type questions. I was asked if nights were OK, asked about my passion for wanting to be a nurse, qualities I have that make me stand out, what I would bring to the position, etc.

The manager went into depth about the facility and scheduling. I feel as though she was gauging if I'd not feel fit or comfortable with the position.

Yeah, I second this. I want to know if anyone else is getting hired on.

The CNO just called me this morning to discuss the program and the hospital- but I still have no idea if I will be offered a position. They said that there was a larger turnout to the fair than they expected which is causing delays in finalizing and offering positions.

May I ask, what position was it you interviewed for? Also, what information did you receive regarding the program?

I got an offer today like at 2pm. I interviewed for Med Surg. They called from an area code 657 number.
