I don't mind sharing. The interview was conducted by the manager to which ever department you apply for. I suggest going early because there was a large turnout and some were waiting for a long time.

Questions were easy. Asked about yourself and your goals. They were very clear that you will likely work nights and they stress that you must be flexible with that. They did ask one work related question; what do you do before administering medications? The answer she was looking for was to use two identifiers. Verbal name and birthdate and not to rely on the scanner.

No, it was not on the spot hire. I was followed up with a second interview via phone/zoom. I was then offered a position the following day.

Thank so much for sharing !
Just wondering if it's not too personal, what was the pay that they offered ? Also curious because I think on the listing it said they paid time and a half after the 8 hours

also, is it structured as a new grad program where there's shifts on the floor and didactic courses ?
sorry the multiple questions, just trying to get an idea 🙂

About $44/hour. There is a night differential pay ($4.50) and weekend differential pay ($3.25).

Yes, they will pay time and a half after the first 8 hours of your shift.

From what I was told, the new grad program will be 12 weeks of training on day shift. Depending on where you get hired, there is a bit of variation. I got hired at Hollywood. I will have classroom (didactic) training one day a week at Culver City. The remaining days will be at Hollywood on the floor.

No worries, ask away!

Got it ! Thanks for much for sharing !
So would it be one day didactic and 2 days of shift at the hospital ?
Also the day of didactic training is paid, just as it would be for a regular shift correct ?
