Hi! I am starting the new grad program at Florida Hospital Tampa in July and was just seeing who else is out there and where you're from! And any input from previous employees that went through the program would be awesome! I signed my new hire paperwork while on a short trip in Tampa this week. Can't wait :)
Hmmm, my understanding was that Carrollwood was hiring earlier than Tampa---> (next to USF) and that you had to take a placement exam no? for Tampa. All 60 hires also where to meet on the day of the exam and spend like 4 hours taking a tour after the exam etc. That was what they told us April 22, at the lunch event I attended
Hey there fellow nurses! My name is Franklin (or Frankie) and I will be moving from Pennsylvania down to the Tampa Bay area. Was just curious how you all have found Florida Hospital Tampa so far? I have 10 years experience in an acute care setting. Originally I got my bachelors and while I was working, recently obtained my masters. The recruiters at all of the Florida Hospitals Tampa seem so nasty??? Why is that I wonder? Can anyone comment on how they are liking it so far there? I always think new graduatees have a good insight into the best hospitals to work. I am not very thrilled about the move but am going with my wife who has a really great opportunity there. She is not in healthcare. I followed the advice here and so far I agree the nicest managers and people to work with have been from Saint Joseph's. HCA never called me back. Adventist Forida Hospitals seem really mean??
