  5. Hi I'm interviewing for the new grad residency at Florida hospital tampa. They post very little about the program online- how was your experience?
  6. Do any new grad programs offer health insurance
  7. I'm applying for the staRN program for the 2016. My concern is that there are no benefits-what does everyone do for health insurance in the interim?
  8. Hey all Seems like many of you relocated from out of state and may have been in a similar position- because I have health insurance in my home state should I get a physical and PPD before I relocate, or will a hospital do this for me as an employee?
  9. Hi Alexis I know it is so nice typing back and forth. I'm a little nervous about orientation, I've been looking forward to starting this program since Jan. 2014 when I graduated undergrad with a Nutrition degree. So I went back to school, and did 2 semesters at UCC, and took the challenge exam.in Nov. So you completed those science courses as an English/Philosophy/Religion major? Did you know you wanted to enter a nursing program. So I've seen those parking decals but haven't heard about when, where, or how to get one. I'm moving closer to school so my commute will be shorter but not into Muhlenberg housing.
  10. Hi Alexis thank you for reaching out. Do you know any more info regarding orientation or who our professors are? I just saw they posted our orientation date, yikes interfere s with my move!! yes resp fit test and drug test did as soon as i sae an email sent to us in Nov. made an appt, still waited 2 hours. just sent in my medical/physical forms today. What is your background/first degree in? and did you take your prereqs at UCC . Did you choose to challenge the nursing math course or did you take the course? Best Shelby
  11. I ordered 3 books from the Rittenhouse book list, thats how I'm preparing. I'm also planning to go to Work n Gear and buy some shoes for clinicals and a stethoscope.
  12. Hi All, I'm entering the Accelerated program this spring. As you're all alumni, could you clue me into what kind of shoes are allowed for clinical?
  13. Hi I'm Shelby. I'm starting the program this January too. I feel like I'm a little in the dark. I don't know any other JFK students, present or alumni.
  14. Hi I'm Shelby, I'll be starting the accelerated program this spring Jan 2015
