New Grad positions at UMMS

:) Any new grads get hired at UMMS? If so how did you go about them reviewing your resume? I have heard from alot of people that they have to jump alot of hoops to get an interview.

I did. I called the unit manager directly and asked for a share day. From there we set up an interview. Human resources is very busy and never called me back until after I was offered the job.

Human resources there is very hard to get to, and irritated when you call w/ a question. I had an interview there, offered a position, and had a horrible experience with the HR, decided not to work there. They are the people new hirees see and should make a good impression. They did not w/ me.

Ha! I had a similar experience. Very bad practice for an HR dept. I guess they don't have a problem finding good nurses, otherwise they wouldn't be so rude.
