New Grad Offer ICU Nights or PCU Days

Hello Allnurses!  Thank you in advance for your input and time. 

I'm a soon to be new grad RN.  (No longer interested in psych.)

I'm deciding between ICU nights and pcu days.  The pay is the same except for the differential.  I'm very interested in the ICU but I equally like the stepdown unit.  The ICU is with a small hospital system and the stepdown unit is with a large corporate system (HCA/Tenet). Before I had a "path" laid out in my head that involved psych now that's gone out the window, I'm wondering which unit would give me a better work life balance as well as opportunities for advancement further down the line.
