Has anyone applied to Nicklaus Children's Hospital, UM Hospital, Baptist Hospital, HCA Hospitals, etc. & have already received a job offer??

 

Or for the ones that have already been selected (last yr)..what was the process like and what should I expect? Do you recommend these residencies? Any info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

@Mari BSN RN Hey! Were you able to find out anything in regards to orientation or the dress code? The recruiter informed me that I will probably receive an email by Thursday or Friday in regards to orientation.

Did you complete the physical, drug test, & fingerprints? Just curious to see if that is what the email you received yesterday was in regards to. Because I completed those tasks about 1-2 weeks ago and they told me that the next upcoming emails ill be receiving are for orientation, not for any other onboarding tasks. But I haven't received anything in regards to creating a CaneID so I'm confused.

Hi @Baren828 I called her yesterday and left a message. She hasn’t gotten back to me, I’m sure she’s busy but she always calls back. I’m going to try again tomorrow if she reach out call.

& no it was an email for orientation we have to complete tasks like payroll, insurance benefits, and to sign other documents that are required for orientation. I am sure you will receive it soon, they send them out little by little. I’m even surprised it got it yesterday because they always send my stuff late.

Hi, @Baren828 I just got off the phone with my recruiter, she specified that HR will be sending us another email in regards to the virtual orientation. She did say that the first day (March 1st) would be through zoom (at home) and that we take our pictures on Friday of that week, she also said to dress business casual for that. Either way, the email should specify all details, as she stated.

If you haven't received any of their emails, check your spam just in case if not call your recruiter so they can send them out. I would call either the one who sent you the offer letter or called you about the offer.

Let me know if you find anything else out, ill be waiting for the email with more details by tomorrow or Friday and keep you posted.

Thank you so much!! I really appreciate it!   I actually received the emails today from HR for the payroll, benefits, etc. My recruiter seems annoyed of all my emails & calls so I gave up. LOL

Yay! ? so glad you did! And of course don’t worry about it I’ll annoy my recruiter she really doesn’t mind she always tells me to call her if anything LOL

Yes I was, they should have sent you two emails. One from IT and the other from HR the IT one gives you the username and HR gave me my temporary password and I had to create a new password once I logged in.

Hi @Baren828 just wanted to touch base and make sure you have received all email pertaining to orientation next week. Should be one from HR and a separate from the education department for the nurse orientation.

Hi! ? Have you tried to access the ulearn website to see the courses & modules we have to complete? I keep receiving a sign on error every time I try to access it. I’m just curious to see if I’m not the only one. I thought maybe they either haven’t set it up or we don’t have access until later on this week.
